Location
Sveti Marko is a small place on the island of Pag, situated 9 km north and about a 15 minute drive from the town of Pag. It is perched on steep rocks above the sea opening to a beautiful view of the Bay of Pag, mountain Velebit and it’s Northern Velebit National Park and Paklenica National Park in the south.

How to reach us?
Distance from the center of Pag is 9 km. The island of Pag is connected to the mainland by land and sea lines. To the south Pag bridge (Paški most) connects to the mainland, why this island can be considered peninsula. If you are traveling on highway A1 exit at Posedarje and only 30 minutes drive you will reach Pag. The northern part of the island is connected to the mainland by a regular ferry line between the port Prizna and Žigljen. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes and information about timetable and prices can be found on the website jadrolinija.hr.
Points Of Interest
Dubrava – Hanzine
This protected corner of nature is the only place in the area of the town of Pag which preserves the remains of the original forest of holm oak. The vegetation here has built resistance to the climate of the island, characterized by gales of Bora wind and salt. Studies have detected the presence of valuable genetic material that has not been previously recorded in botany.
Meridian 15°O’E
The 15th meridian east passes through the island of Pag. It is marked by a marble monument placed along an unpaved road leading from the Bošana tract to the Sveti Duh (Holy Spirit) Beach, 5 km from the town of Pag. This is a nice spot where bicycle riders and hikers can enjoy the view.
Sv.Vid (349m)
Sveti Vid is the highest peak on the island of Pag. There are several trails leading to the peak – a steep one from Dubrava-Hanzina (45′) and an easier one from Kolan or Šimuni (75′).
Gradac viewpoint
One of the best places that offers one the best panoramic views of Pag and Velebit. The lookout is often a place where tourists take pictures. Gradac is located by the road connecting Pag and Novalja.
